What does the "MDL" stand for?

The MDL Give A Book is named in loving memory of Mindy D. Laufer , mom of Give A Book program coordinator, Wendy Elover.

In addition to being a wonderful mom and grandma, Mindy was also very active in her community & held many leadership roles in the PTA, religious and civic organizations.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   She became a literacy volunteer after retiring. She tutored adults, teaching them reading and math. She also volunteered in the Kindergarten classroom at a local elementary school up until the time of her passing. She loved to see people excited about learning, and we are so proud to carry on her memory and this special mission through the MDL Give A Book Program.
